Well the last of January is nearly over for 2012 for sure anyway. All this talk about the end of the world might suggest that this may also be the last January ever for humans. Anyway, in this past weekend while all my co-workers were at a photo conference in Florida, I was left behind to "hold the fort" so to speak. While I was only in the studio this past Friday, I did have a handful of shoots. Saturday, I had to photograph Lincoln-Way West varsity wrestling for their senior day. They didn't do so well....Sunday, ohhh Sunday was interesting. Sunday I had to photograph a fashion show at Queen of Peace high school. That was an experience. Most of the girls were into it, some, well, not so much. Monday was something I was more familiar with. That was girls basketball at my former high school, Providence Catholic. The Sophomore game was a warm up for me so I would be ready for the varsity girls which was also a senior night...for all 2 seniors on the team. That was a good game. Provi won
Man...I never thought I'd be writing a blog. Work is slow and I haven't been in the studio since Christmas Eve Eve Eve Eve, that would be the 21st right? What am I doing (ohhh he said it just like when it happens in the movies), well playing a lot of MW3 and eating. This past week I have shot a few basketball games for work, including this morning. The first game this morning went into overtime and it was exciting even for a high school freshman game.
Anyway, it was suggested to me by a certain member of the Chicago Blackhawks that I get a blog to keep updated and get away from looking like a hobbyist. (that would be because of the flickr usage)
So yea, this is my online portfolio, welcome!
