Hello,
my design and photography work are influenced by the same thing...detail. At the very start, I always looked to the little details for a composition. While I consider myself as a photographer first and designer second, both work with each other. My design work usually has a photography driven style and my photography has some evidence of a designer's eye.
Like I said, I consider myself as a photographer first. That is where my ambition lies and my passion the strongest. I have a strong technical sense of photography because that is what I really tried to learn while in school. I believe that creativity is a by product of technique. Creativity cannot be taught, only persuaded and executed by technique. That is seen in my work. My slinky photos are a perfect example.
I am a bit of a quiet type. I do keep to myself for the most part which is partly why my photography direction went the way it did in college. My portfolio was that of toys, not people. I like being able to spend time by myself with a product and being able to physically interact with it to get what I want.
