Well, since I made that light box I've been trying really hard to figure out how to light it. At the very beginning like in the photo from the previous post, I used my Canon 580EX II Speedlite as my only light source. Doing that I had use my bracket and sync cord which added another thing to worry about. So, I ended up buying a cheap 500 watt work light from Home Depot to use instead. I also moved my light box to the downstairs spare room to make it more of a "studio". Now my set up is on a table with my new light mounted to my tripod. (I had to modify one of my tripod quick release mounts with the screw from the work light so it could fit snug). A lot of trial and error and frustration occurred. I knew product photography was difficult, but doing it homemade style makes it even more of a challenge...(post processing helps quite a bit)
But anyway, here are a couple shots from the first experiment, the rest are in my tabletop page.
